Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) has well-established advantages over clinic blood pressure (BP) in children and adults [
1]. Uncontrolled ambulatory hypertension, especially nocturnal hypertension, is associated with greater target organ damage in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and obesity, as well as increased risk of cardiovascular death in the general population [
