As the year comes to a close—and with it my term as President of ASNC—I’ve been reflecting upon my nearly 20-year journey with ASNC. What attracted me, initially, to the Society are the very same strengths I continue to be impressed by: this small, forward-looking organization, over and over again, proves its inclusivity, its openness to new ideas, and its astonishing ability for quick change. I am incredibly proud to attest to this as the Society’s third female and one of many internationally trained presidents. …
