Excerpt

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a phenotypically and genetically heterogenous condition that is most often initially diagnosed non-invasively by echocardiography. However, initial presentation to the nuclear laboratory to rule out myocardial ischemia is not uncommon and provides an opportunity for the diagnosis to be suspected and/or confirmed.1
