Viral warts are benign lesions caused by HPV infection. They can appear in any location on the skin. Although they are usually asymptomatic, they can sometimes cause pain or deformity. There is a possibility that spontaneous regression happens, although they may persist for years. Cryotherapy and topical keratolytics are frequently used in their treatment. However, there are cases refractory to these treatments. Other treatments such as imiquimod, intralesional bleomycin, or oral cimetidine have also been employed. …
