About this journal
The Journal of Pediatric Neuropsychology is the official journal of the American Academy of Pediatric Neuropsychology. The journal publishes original peer-reviewed research focused on the needs of children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders. Manuscripts should have practical applications for a pediatric population in clinical, school, and/or forensic settings. Topics the Journal may consider publishing include neuropsychological assessment, evidence-based interventions, neurodevelopment, neurorehabilitation, psychopharmacology, neuroimaging, biomarkers, ethical and legal issues, test construction and psychometrics, and hospital to home and school transitions.
Please note that the Journal primarily publishes manuscripts with empirical research. Case studies and theoretical reviews will be considered only if they result in substantial contributions to the field. Please contact the Editor-in-Chief regarding commentaries, special issues, and book and test reviews.
