A 49-year-old woman was admitted with melena for 2 months. Two years ago, she underwent partial hepatectomy for ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Laboratory tests showed hemoglobin 49 g/L. Gastroscopy and colonoscopy revealed no obvious abnormalities. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography showed wall thickening of the horizontal portion of the duodenum (Fig.
1). Double-balloon enteroscopy was performed: a polypoid eminence lesion was found in the beginning of horizontal portion of the duodenum, with a hyperemia and erosion surface (Fig.
2). Endoscopy biopsy was performed and pathology revealed carcinoma. Therefore, she underwent small intestinal tumor resection (Fig.
