Immunosuppression significantly increases the risk of developing non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSC), including basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC) [
1]. Research examining solid organ transplant recipients (SOTR) on long-term immunosuppressive drug regimens has been done, showing that these patients have a higher risk of developing cSCC, compared to immunocompetent patients [
2]. However, more research is needed to examine the effects of other common immunomodulating conditions on the development of BCC and cSCC. Some studies show that chronic kidney disease (CKD) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) are risk factors for NMSC [
