Myocardial infarction and heart failure in young patients with type 2 diabetes

MedNet.nl: Those diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at a young age have a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, specifically myocardial infarction and heart failure, than young people with type 1 diabetes. This is worrying data as the number of young people with type 2 diabetes continues to increase.
