Figure 1 reproduces an oil on canvas portrait of Pauline Charlotte Hübner painted by her husband Julius Hübner. (http://www.juliushuebner.de/DE/1829_pauline_huebner_geb_bendemann.html last accessed 13/6/2022). He painted the portrait just after their marriage in 1829; Pauline was 20 years old at the time.
