Dieulafoy’s lesion is a rare cause of massive gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding. Life-threatening bleeding occurs in 10% of patients with Dieulafoy’s lesion [1]. Although patients with Dieulafoy’s lesions associated with thrombocytopenia due to hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes and low platelets (HELLP) syndrome [2], myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) [3], and chronic liver disease [4] have been reported, as far as we know, the case of a patient suffering GI bleeding from Dieulafoy’s lesion with idiopathic/immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is unprecedented. Keynote webinar | Spotlight on medication adherence

Live: Thursday 27th June 2024, 18:00-19:30 (CEST)

WHO estimates that half of all patients worldwide are non-adherent to their prescribed medication. The consequences of poor adherence can be catastrophic, on both the individual and population level.

Join our expert panel to discover why you need to understand the drivers of non-adherence in your patients, and how you can optimize medication adherence in your clinics to drastically improve patient outcomes.
