Renal disease often occurs with Henoch Schönlein Purpura (HSP). NGAL is a non-invasive, urinary biomarker that is predictive of renal flares in SLE1 and associated with elevated SBP and DBP in subjects with preeclampsia2 or early atherosclerosis3.
