With the clash of the dual pandemics [1], bariatric surgery is an essential component of our armamentarium against the burgeoning global problem of obesity. Nonetheless, the clinician should be mindful of various potential post-operative complications. In this report, we describe a patient with functional gastric obstruction and rapid post-operative weight loss following laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, who subsequently presented with bilateral peroneal neuropathy at 11 weeks post-operatively. …
