Abstract

Background

Craniopharyngiomas are present with a wide range of appearances, but the existence of cysts, calcification, and enhancement in a suprasellar tumor strongly favors the diagnosis.

Discussion

There is a significant differential diagnosis that must be considered. The pre- and postoperative imaging of craniopharyngioma is reviewed.
