In recent years, immunoinflammatory measures, such as neutrophil–lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet–lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and C-reactive protein (CRP)–albumin ratio (CAR), have been recognized as useful for prognostication in several malignancies.1 Our previous systematic meta-analysis review indicated a strong correlation between immunoinflammatory measures and tumor invasion.2 However, to date, no study has examined a correlation between immunoinflammatory measures and tumor microenvironmental inflammation. …
