Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) is established as a tissue acquisition technique for solid masses in or adjacent to the gastrointestinal (GI) tract [1, 2]. EUS-FNA for the indeterminate biliary stricture [3] or EUS-trucut biopsy (TCB) for the thickened esophagogastric wall [4] has also been reported. Herein, we present two cases of malignant duodenal obstruction without a discrete mass diagnosed by EUS-FNA. …
