Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a chronic disease associated with life-limiting complications due to multiple organ damage. Advancements in diagnosis and treatment of CF have allowed improvement in overall survival over the last 3 decades [1]. As a consequence, an increasing incidence of malignancies (particularly gastrointestinal cancers) among these patients has been noted [2, 3].
