Excerpt

Both Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis are associated with ocular disease, including anterior episcleritis and uveitis. However, central vein occlusion has been a rarely reported complication of Crohn's disease (four cases) [14] or ulcerative colitis (four cases) [58]. We report the fifth case of central vein occlusion in a patient with ulcerative colitis. In addition, six cases of retinal vasculitis have also been described in association with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), although there was no evidence of venous occlusion in these patients [3, 913]. …

Keynote webinar | Spotlight on medication adherence

Live: Thursday 27th June 2024, 18:00-19:30 (CEST)

WHO estimates that half of all patients worldwide are non-adherent to their prescribed medication. The consequences of poor adherence can be catastrophic, on both the individual and population level.

Join our expert panel to discover why you need to understand the drivers of non-adherence in your patients, and how you can optimize medication adherence in your clinics to drastically improve patient outcomes.
