The use of voriconazole as an antifungal prophylaxis after lung transplantation has shown positive outcomes [1]. However, it is also associated with an increased risk of post-transplant cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Posaconazole has emerged as a potential alternative, with anecdotal evidence suggesting a lower incidence of SCC compared to voriconazole [2].
