Psychological comorbidities of vitiligo: a retrospective cross-sectional analysis in an urban population

Vitiligo is a disorder of depigmentation that can have profound psychosocial effects, especially in individuals with darker skin, in whom it is more visible [1, 2]. This study is a retrospective cross-sectional chart review that included all patients diagnosed with vitiligo, treated at a Keck Medical Center of USC (private), LAG + USC (public) and their associated outpatient facilities in Los Angeles between January 2009-August 2019, with a focus on associated psychiatric comorbidities (Table 1).
