To the Editor: The social standard of an individual or a group is determined by the socio-economic status [1]. The socio-economic status is defined as “a position attained by an individual within a system of hierarchical social structure” [2]. The concept of socio-economic status is being widely used in medical sociology. In day-to-day life, the socio-economic status is an important factor which affects the health condition of an individual and the family, social security and family health statics [3]. …
