A 67-year-old man with hypertension and diabetes developed anteroseptal acute myocardial infarction without any particular trigger. He had a history of old myocardial infarction 13 years ago and 3.5 × 23 mm first-generation drug-eluting stent (DES) (Cypher stent, Johnson & Jhonson, New Brunswinckm New Jersey, USA) was placed in the proximal lesion of left anterior descending artery (LAD).
