A 3-day-old term girl was transferred to our hospital for cyanosis. She was doing well, with an oxygen saturation (SpO2) of 77% in ambient air. An echocardiogram showed a mildly hypoplastic right ventricle (RV) and an undulating, membranous structure originating from the anterior rim of the inferior vena cava (IVC) orifice. Such an elongated structure was not obviously fenestrated or attached to any other parts of the right atrium (RA), consistent with a giant eustachian valve (EV). …
