The United Kingdom’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recently released their “Guideline on Chest Pain of Recent Onset”.
1 The highly comprehensive document provides recommendations for evaluation of patients presenting with new onset acute chest pain to clinicians or Emergency Departments, and also recommendations for evaluation of those with more stable symptoms presenting to clinicians as out-patients.
