To the Editor—The chief point raised by Drs. Wasserberg and Kaiser pertains to the normal range of values for anorectal manometry. First, we do not quote normal ranges in our study. The comparison of pressures is between the various groups of sphincter injury as defined radiologically and by symptom scoring. Such comparison of groups adds strength to our conclusions. …
