Exa-cel: Cure for patients with transfusion-dependent β-thalassemia

MedNet.nl: Exagamglogene autotemcel (exa-cel) has the potential to cure patients with transfusion-dependent β-thalassemia with a single treatment. This is evident from the interim results of the CLIMB THAL-111 study, in which patients achieved transfusion independence and improvements in hemoglobin values and quality of life.
