MRI serves as the imaging gold standard for the evaluation of internal derangement in patients with knee pain. In patients with MRI contraindications CT arthrography of the knee can be performed alternatively to assess osteochondral lesions, meniscal tears, loose bodies and tears of the cruciate ligaments [

2]. Conventional bone scintigraphy with single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)/CT provides important metabolic information in patients with knee pain [
