The editors confirm a decision for retraction of the article by Chen Liu, et. al, Survival of MM cells is dependent on Notch Signaling, accepted February 4, 2011, published online: DOI 10.1007/s12032-011-9859-2. Substantial portions of this article were found to have been previously published by Nefedova Y., et. al., Inhibition of Notch signaling induces apoptosis of myeloma cells and enhances sensitivity to chemotherapy, Blood 2008 111: 2220–2229 prepublished online as Blood First Edition paper, November 2006, 2007). Hence, this article has been retracted due to plagiarism. …
