Yim et al. [1] reported that they found no significant difference in the quality of marital life between male patients with spondyloarthropathy (SpA) in Korea and their healthy counterparts. They found, however, unfavorable values (more distress and more frequent aggression by their partners) for female patients with SpA compared both with male patients with SpA and with healthy females. In their conclusion, they mention that similar studies using a larger number of subjects and different ethnic groups are desirable. …
