We read with interest the article titled “Autonomic nervous system function in women with anorexia nervosa” by Jenkins et al. [1]. This cross-sectional study involved 10 women with anorexia, 17 weight-restored women, and ten healthy controls. All participants were evaluated with an extensive battery assessing the autonomic nervous system functioning including muscle sympathetic nerve activity, blood pressure variability, head-up tilt test, sudomotor function, heart rate variability (HRV), and plasma catecholamines levels. …
