Misako Nagasaka, M.D., Ph.D., is an associate clinical professor in Thoracic Oncology for the Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine, and a member of the UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lung and thyroid cancer. She received her medical degree and Ph.D. from St. Marianna University School of Medicine in Kawasaki, Japan. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and her fellowship at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and the Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. …
