After publishing the paper, ‘A nomogram to estimate the proportion of patients at hemoglobin A1c target <7 % with noninsulin antidiabetic drugs in type 2 diabetes: a systematic review of 137 randomized controlled trials with 39,845 patients’ by Esposito et al. [1], it was brought to our journal’s attention that the article contained some redundancies with an earlier article published in Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism entitled, ‘Proportion of patients at HbA1c target <7 % with eight classes of antidiabetic drugs in type 2 diabetes: systematic review of 218 randomized controlled trials with 78,945 patients’ by Esposito et al. [2]. …
