Mixed neuroendocrine non-neuroendocrine neoplasm (MiNEN) is an unusual tumor of the anorectal region. It requires the occurrence of both neuroendocrine and non-neuroendocrine components, each accounting for > 30% of the tumor population [
1]. Goblet cell adenocarcinoma is a peculiar tumor of the appendix representing an amphicrine tumor with co-existence of both neuroendocrine and goblet cell morphology. The occurrence of goblet cell adenocarcinoma in the extra-appendiceal site is not recognized by the WHO classification though a few anecdotal case reports speak volumes about its occurrence [
