Multifocal Pseudomonas aeruginosa myositis in an apparently healthy adult

A 64-year-old female pensioner presented with fever, diffuse muscle pains, and extensive areas of erythema and edema over her right and left thigh as well as her right and left upper limbs. The duration of these symptoms was 7 days. In addition the patient noticed generalized edema. The past medical history did not include any comorbidity and the patient was not treated for any other affection before the appearance of the erythema. …
