Familial cardiac myxomas are rare and often appear as right sided multi-chamber myxomas with an autosomal dominant pattern of inheritance [1, 2]. We report on a case of familial cardiac myxoma. A large myxoma in the right ventricle (RV) was detected; however, a small myxoma in the right atrium (RA) was missed in routine echocardiography, and then detected by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). …
