With emerging cases of adrenal suppression being reported in pediatric patients, finding appropriate steroid sparing agents is of clinical importance. Tiotropium bromide (TB), a long-acting anticholinergic, has recently been investigated in adults as a steroid-sparing agent in asthma step-up therapy.
