Abstract

In removable partial dentures (RPD)’s, long-term success and patient satisfaction depends on mouth preparation. Optimal tissue and tooth support is essential for long-term prognosis of removable partial dentures. Before impression making, denture-bearing areas, abutment teeth, and all surrounding tissues should be adequately prepared and ready for the new situation.
