Abdominal pain is a common cause of emergency ward consultation. It is particularly intimidating both for the patient and for the emergency physician who must apply a rigorous diagnostic approach, as the nosology is wide. In particular, surgical emergencies whether common or rare must be searched for. Our case report presents one of those rare but possibly life-threatening causes of febrile abdominal pain. …
