Uvulas on average measure 5–25 mm in length. Enlarged uvulas, also termed uvulitis, are often the result of infection [1]. In the vast majority of cases these settle within a short time span post the infective process [1]. Chronic enlargement of the uvula as a single presenting feature with no systemic symptoms or reports of a recent infective process is an uncommon presentation. Often this results in misdiagnosis and subsequent unwarranted investigations. …
