Top ten takeaways from #ASNC2020: FITs’ perspective

The year 2020 has been unlike any other but tribulation brings innovation and ASNC2020 embraced this spirit of evolution with gusto. It was a conference of many firsts, the foremost being that it was the first ASNC meeting to be held virtually, making it a truly global event. Co-chaired by Terrence Ruddy MD MASNC and Piotr Slomka MD FASNC, and under the auspices of ASNC President Sharmila Dorbala MD MPH MASNC the theme of the meeting was, “Using Technology to Improve Patient Care.” (Figure 1) As fellows-in-training (FIT) and social media moderators (aka SoMe photons), it was an exciting and edifying experience.
