Abstract

Breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) is a common and feared complication of breast cancer treatment. Incidence of BCRL ranges from 0 to 60% and it depends upon stage of disease, type of surgery, and adjuvant treatment like chemotherapy and radiation. This is a case report of a patient presenting with nonfunctional limb (grade III as per CTC staging of lymphedema) who required amputation for the symptomatic relief.
