The authors of the recent publication “Splenic rupture and mediastinal mass associated with rare TdT-negative T-LBL/T-ALL lead to sudden death of a juvenile” [1] appreciate relevant comments and add further discussion regarding their presented case. The authors described a rare case report of splenic rupture due to an enlarged spleen related to tumor disease in combination with the presence of a huge mediastinal mass causing cardiac compression and compression of the pulmonary arteries. …
