A 53-year-old Caucasian woman, with a history of LAGB, performed 18 years ago in another hospital, presented in May 2017 to our bariatric centre with a one-year history of vomiting and weight loss of 20 kg. The patient reported turbid fluid in the access port during the last check. Physical examination was negative for acute surgical diseases. Of note, she underwent quadrantectomy with sentinel lymph node excision for left breast cancer (2016) followed by radiation therapy. At time of diagnosis, she was currently on chemo and hormone therapy. Oncological follow-up was negative for persistent disease. …
