Nicola Scopinaro was born on March 6, 1945, in Castagneto Carducci, a small village in the district of Livorno (Tuscany, Italy). His mother was from an established family in Castagneto, and his father was from the Caldari district of Chieti (Abruzzo, Italy). Nicola’s father was a Full Professor of Medicine in Genoa. In 1945, the family moved to Genoa (Liguria, Italy), where Nicola, who at that time was only a few months old, has spent all of his life. …
