In some regions, weather conditions have an impact upon emergency department (ED) visits, hospital admissions, and even mortality.^1‐3 Studies in other regions have shown no such impact of weather.^{4, 5} Physician perceptions of this inconsistent phenomenon are unclear, particularly in internal medicine.
