Various complications after hernia repair have been reported, including pubic osteomyelitis. However, no reports have described pubic osteomyelitis after transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia repair. Thus, the diagnosis of pubic osteomyelitis is often missed or delayed. Pubic osteomyelitis occurs with a complication after urological and gynecological surgery, pregnancy, and intravenous drug administration, and other conditions. It has also been reported in young, healthy patients and athletes. However, only a few reports have described pubic osteomyelitis after conventional inguinal hernia repair, [
