Vergouwen et al. reported that intravenous tissue plasminogen activator (IV tPA) treatment was not associated with an increased risk of secondary intracerebral hemorrhage or gastrointestinal hemorrhage in patients with acute ischemic stroke taking warfarin with an international normalized ratio (INR) <1.7 [
