Sixteen years ago, Professor Hans-Jorg Senn, in collaboration with other leaders of the recently established Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, decided that the rapidly expanding field of supportive care should have its own dedicated journal. Out of those efforts came the publication that you are reading, now known as Journal of Supportive Care in Cancer. Under Professor Senn’s leadership, this journal has flourished and grown to become a highly respected source for evidence-based research in supportive care and the official publication of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer. …
