Therapy with renin angiotensin system (RAS) inhibitors allows reno-protection in patients with glomerulonephritis (GN). Both angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE-I) and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB) are considered to be the drugs of first choice to improve kidney survival in adults with proteinuric nephropathy.
