Waiting for combined treatment with RAS inhibitors in children with primary glomerulonephritis

Therapy with renin angiotensin system (RAS) inhibitors allows reno-protection in patients with glomerulonephritis (GN). Both angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE-I) and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB) are considered to be the drugs of first choice to improve kidney survival in adults with proteinuric nephropathy. Our knowledge of and interest in these drugs has increased in recent years, as has the number of review articles and publications on the topic. …
