Enthesitis is a characteristic feature of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and related spondyloarthropathies [

2]. Treatment of refractory heel pain caused by Achilles enthesopathy, plantar fasciitis, or retrocalcaneal bursitis is one of the most challenging issues in AS or related spondyloarthropathies [
