The upside-down stomach refers to a type of paraesophageal hiatus hernia, characterized by a complete or nearly complete herniation of the stomach into the posterior mediastinum [1]. In this condition the greater curvature lies above the lesser curvature, with a pylorus located in close proximity to cardia creating an inverted or upside-down configuration [2, 3]. …
